Meet the Doctor

Dr. Jorge Peralta Gonzalez is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by his parents, both dentists in the Dominican Republic. Growing up in this environment, he witnessed firsthand the positive impact they had on their community, igniting his passion for helping others through oral health.

Dr. Peralta earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the esteemed Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, graduating in 2015. He then relocated to the United States, obtaining an Associate of Occupational Studies in Medical Assistance from ASA College. His commitment to excellence culminated in revalidating his dental degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with high honors in 2024.

He offers a comprehensive range of dental services, including restorative procedures, fixed restorations, pediatric dentistry, orthodontic treatments like Invisalign, endodontic procedures, and oral surgery. Dr. Peralta’s philosophy centers around treating patients as if they were family, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their dental journey. He emphasizes open communication and tailored treatment plans that prioritize each patient’s unique needs.

As a certified Invisalign provider, Dr. Peralta is passionate about staying at the forefront of dental technology. He recognizes the importance of innovation in providing the best possible care and continuously seeks to expand his knowledge and skills. His diverse background, having studied dentistry in a different cultural context, enhances his ability to serve patients from various backgrounds.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Peralta is committed to community engagement. He previously served as a dental instructor at NYSMDA in Long Island City, inspiring future dental assistants through hands-on learning and online resources during the pandemic. His dedication to education reflects his belief in empowering others and promoting oral health awareness.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Peralta enjoys an active lifestyle. He has a passion for sports, having received a scholarship in baseball during his studies in New York, and he remains an avid supporter of the Boston Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots. Family values are deeply important to him, as evidenced by his close-knit relationship with his parents and siblings, all of whom are involved in dentistry.
