Emergencies, traffic, and scheduling conflicts can arise, and we do our best to accommodate every situation. Our goal is to keep your dental care flexible, accessible, and stress-free, while ensuring that all patients receive the time and attention they deserve.

Why This Policy Matters

Because we provide one-on-one, personalized care, each appointment is reserved exclusively for you. When appointments are missed or cancelled without notice, it affects not only our dental team but also other patients from Chestnut Hill, Brookline, and Newton who may be waiting for care.

Providing at least 48 hours’ notice when you need to cancel or reschedule helps us maintain smooth operations and ensures that we can offer openings to those in need of timely treatment.

Late Arrival Policy

We kindly ask patients to arrive a few minutes before their scheduled appointment time. When you arrive, please call the office from your car to let us know you’re here, we’ll let you know as soon as we’re ready for you.

We understand that unexpected delays happen. That’s why we offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you’re running more than 15 minutes behind, we’ll do everything we can to still see you that day. If our schedule is full, we’ll gladly find another time that works best for you.

Our goal is always to be respectful of your time and the time of others, keeping visits efficient and on schedule.

No Show & Cancellation Policy

A “No Show” refers to any appointment that is missed without providing at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations or reschedules made within less than 48 hours are also considered late cancellations.

Because this time is set aside exclusively for you, a $75 no-show fee applies to missed or late-cancelled appointments. This fee cannot be billed to insurance and must be paid before your next scheduled visit.

To help you keep track of your appointments, our team provides courtesy reminders by phone or text prior to your scheduled visit. You’ll always have the opportunity to confirm, cancel, or reschedule at that time. Once an appointment is confirmed, patients remain responsible for cancelling or rescheduling at least 48 hours in advance.

If you receive a voicemail reminder, please return the call or message to confirm or adjust your appointment. Even if your phone service is unavailable, patients are still responsible for keeping their reserved time.
