What are Lumineers?

Procedure

This mold will be sent to a Lumineers laboratory, along with photos and other records to ensure that the most accurate shells are created. Unlike with traditional veneers, Lumineers do not require extensive drilling or other work on your teeth, so there will be no need to have temporaries placed onto the teeth being treated.
Once the Lumineers have been completed (usually after about two weeks), you will return to your dentist to have them bonded. Your dentist will first place them on to check that they are a good fit. The teeth will then be moderately etched to create a stronger bond with the Lumineers, which are then bonded one by one. Because improper balance could result in chipping of the Lumineers through everyday use, your dentist will check your bite at the end of the procedure.
